Thanks, Michael! And, yes, we'll have another in the spring. ************************************************************* * Fiddling Cricket Holiday Party in the South Bay, Dec 16th * ************************************************************* Been jonesing for that Fiddling Cricket vibe ever since the Espresso Garden closed last April? The Cricket will be back in the South Bay on Saturday, December 16th when it will hold its annual Holiday Party at Mission City Coffee in Santa Clara. The December calendar is not yet on the Fiddling Cricket site, but expect The Mighty Avalanche Choir with more details to be posted later at http://www.FiddlingCricket.com *************************************** * More changes at Mission City Coffee * *************************************** Mission City Coffee is shaping up to be a really nice venue. Shop owner, Jae, put together a very nice stage at the beginning of October, and a couple of weeks later added stage lighting. Since that time, Richard Adoradio (www.ThrivingArtists.net), who put together the listening room at the Blue Rock Shoot in Saratoga, has taken over booking for the venue and plans to acoustically treat the room and install a permanent sound system. Pictures of the stage have been added to the bottom of the page at: http://www.SouthBayFolks.org/photos/2006/Mission-City-Renovation/ *************************************** * South Bay Folks' Acoustic Open Mike * *************************************** NOTE: NO OPEN MIKE on Thanksgiving Day! 7pm-10pm Every Thursday (sign up by 6:45pm) Held at: Mission City Coffee Roasting Company 2221 The Alameda, Santa Clara, CA 95050 (adjacent to Santa Clara Univ) tel: 408-261-2221 More info at http://www.SouthBayFolks.org/openmike.html We would like to remind you that until a piano is once again available to us, electronic keyboards set to an acoustic voice are welcomed.
