* Quick reminder: SBF Spring Picnic Jam is this Sunday *

Just a quick reminder that the South Bay Folks Spring Picnic & Jam is
this Sunday. Find us in the park adjacent to the Vasona Vibrations
stage, on the site of the old (now demolished) Ranger's Office, which
is just down the hill from the pedestrian entrance at Pepper Tree
Lane and University Ave.
 
What: South Bay Folks' Spring Picnic and Acoustic Jam
 
Why: Great acoustic fun and camaraderie!
 
When: Noon 'til Sunset,
      Sunday, May 15th, 2016
 
Where: Vasona Lake County Park
       333 Blossom Hill Road,

"Git yer hot, fresh, flyers and posters!"
 
You can help spread the word about this summer's free Vasona
Vibrations Concert Series to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Flyers
and posters with the complete lineup of acoustic artists are now
available for you to download and print from the SBF web site at:

Flyers and posters will also be available at the SBF Picnic this
weekend, and at the SBF open mike for the next several weeks.
 
Please remember to only post where you have explicit permission to
do so. Do not post on telephone or utility poles, or other public
property. Good places to post include community bulletin boards,
company break rooms or, with permission, a public facing window
of your favorite shop or business.
 
What: 14th Annual Vasona Vibrations Concert Series
 
Why: Raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank, and great music!
 
When: 5pm-7pm every Saturday in June and July
 
Where: Vasona Lake County Park

       Los Gatos, CA

The new South Bay Folks t-shirt featuring Michael McLaughlin's
"basket of instruments" graphic was a great hit, and several folks
who missed out have been asking about them. If there is enough
interest, Kat Yates will shepard a second run.
 
If you are interested, you can place an order at this weekend's SBF
picnic or at one of the SBF open mikes before May 28th.
 
If you cannot make one of those events, you may also inquire about
placing an order by replying to this newsletter with the words
"ATTN: SBF t-shirt" in the subject line, and we will forward your
request to Kat.
 
Deadline is May 28th. As always, cost will be whatever the t-shirt
company charges.
