When: 1PM, this Sunday, Aug 5th Where: Mission City Coffee Roasting company 2221 The Alameda, Santa Clara, CA 95050 (just east of Santa Clara University) South Bay Folks is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year, and we hope to capture a bit of the SBF Community spirit for posterity. Regular and occasional performers at the SBF open mike are welcome to submit framed, 16"x20" prints of themselves or their group performing for inclusion in a permanent display to be prominently mounted in Mission City Coffee. Smaller prints are acceptable, but should be no smaller than approximately 11"x17". (The photos will be permanently mounted high on the wall and need to be large enough to be easily seen from the floor.) Frames should be unadorned and tasteful. For those who don't already have a suitable photo and want to be included in this project, photographer Katie Cooney has volunteered her services for a photo shoot to be held at the Cafe this Sunday. (This is being done in the afternoon instead of at a regular Thursday night open mike to take advantage of the natural light.) Be sure to bring your instrument(s) and be prepared to perform and/or jam. The South Bay Folks community has a large contingent of non-musician supporters who are vital to camaraderie which runs through South Bay Folks, and please know that you are welcome to participate too. ................................................................ ************************************************ * How to add or remove yourself from this list * ************************************************ The SBF newsletter should only be sent to those who have asked to receive it.
