* South Bay Folks' 15th Anniversary Picnic Jam *
************************************************
"Sing and play until you or the sun drops!"
When: Sunday, October 7th, 2007
12pm till sunset
Where: Vasona Lake County Park
333 Blossom Hill Road
Los Gatos, CA 95032
This October marks South Bay Folks' fifteenth anniversary of making
music, and we're celebrating! Bring your acoustic instruments, voices,
picnic baskets, friends, and family. Find us at the lake, between the
boat dock and the bridge, where there is plenty of shade, a great view
of Vasona Lake, and a big barbecue pit. We'll get the fire started if
you want to bring something to grill.

****************************************************
The "Home of South Bay Folks" display at Mission City Coffee has
begun to take shape with an initial dozen or so photos of South Bay
Folkies already mounted, and it looks great! If you have not yet
submitted your photo, there is still time to include you.
Whether you are a regular or casual performer at the SBF open mike,
Mission City Coffee owner, Jae, is inviting you to submit a framed
photo for permanent display. The suggested size is 16"x20". Other
sizes acceptable, but we would recommend nothing smaller than 11"x17".
These are being mounted fairly high on the wall and need to be of a
good size that is easily viewable from the floor. Frames should be
simple, unadorned, and black.
*****************************
* 15th Anniversary T-Shirts *
*****************************
South Bay Folkies, Katherine Yates and Daphna Rahmil, think the 15
year milestone deserves a commemorative t-shirt. The design is white
on black and features the wonderful logo that John Eddy created when
SBF first formed.
Katherine will take orders for the t-shirts at the SBF open mikes on
September 20th and September 27th. They should be available for pickup
at the open mike on Thursday, October 4th and at the 15th Anniversary
Picnic Jam on Sunday, October 7th. Price will be exactly what it costs
to have them made.
