Known to many in the Bay Area for her KKUP radio show "Don't Panic (It's Just Us Folks)", Lisa is also fondly remembered by long-time SBF members as the "mother of South Bay Folks" for planting and watering the initial seeds of SBF. Below is a message from the Atkinson & Kincheloe families with details of where to send condolences, and details of a celebration in honor of Lisa's life and music to be held this Wednesday evening, May 13th: ___________________________________________________________________ From: 5/9/2009 4:35 PM Everyone couldn't help but love Lisa. It was a blessing to each and every one of us to be able to spend what little time we had with her. With that in mind, it's significant that we should all get together to share and exult in the bliss of our commonality - the fact that we all experienced her joy and love and spirit while it was shining here upon this world. We would like to do a celebration concert to honor her very talented life. The concert will be at College Heights Church this Wednesday evening, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. Parking may become a challenge, so you may want to arrive early and if possible share a ride. Additional parking is available along the street or at the Laurelwood Shopping Center just north of the church. College Heights Church 1150 W. Hillsdale Blvd San Mateo, CA 94403 (www.collegeheights.us) If you would like to send a card to the family expressing your love for Lisa, George Kincheloe and Family 317 W. 41st Ave, San Mateo, CA 94403 Please forward this e-mail to anyone you know who was a lover of Lisa's music & spirit who may not be on this e-mail list. Thank you so much for your continuous support through these times. Though we are all deeply saddened and at a loss for words in this moment, at least we can find solace in our community - at least we can raise the roof and sing praise for the fact that we have all been blessed by the angel named Lisa. Come one come all - MUCH LOVE.
