Due to a change in management and new policies with respect to
non-profits and community organizations, Los Gatos Lodge will
no longer be hosting the SBF open mike.

* South Bay Folks needs a new home *
************************************
South Bay Folks is looking for a new home for its nearly
25-year-old open mike. Finding a new venue is easy; finding a
suitable venue is hard.
 
There are several factors to consider: The SBF open mike has
regularly attracted 40 to 50 or more people, both musicians and
audience. A suitable venue needs to have adequate seating and
parking, reasonable acoustics, and a music-friendly owner. A
separate space for performances is ideal, allowing for folks to
socialize without adversely affecting the music.
 
You can help us continue this 25 year tradition. If you have a
suggestion for a new venue, you can reach us by simply
