Finding a new venue is easy; finding a suitable venue is hard. There are several factors to consider: The SBF open mike has regularly attracted 40 to 50 or more people, both musicians and audience. A suitable venue needs to have adequate seating and parking, reasonable acoustics, and a music-friendly owner. A separate space for performances is ideal, allowing for folks to socialize without adversely affecting the music. You can help us continue this 25 year tradition. If you have a suggestion for a new venue, you can reach us by simply replying to this newsletter, or by sending email to contact-sbf@SouthBayFolks.org. ................................................................ ************************************************ * How to add or remove yourself from this list * ************************************************ The SBF newsletter should only be sent to those who have asked to receive it.
