SBF News - May 1, 2025

SBF 2025 Spring Picnic - Sunday, May 18th

We will be getting together for a picnic/acoustic jam. Same place as the fall picnic:

10am-7pm, Sunday, May 18th,
Linda Vista Park, Linda Vista Drive, Cupertino

Food: It's a potluck!

Music: Bring your instruments and a chair if you like. There are benches and tables, but they are not necessarily comfy for jamming.

Rules: All city of Cupertino parks have rules that we are required to follow. Here is a partial list that might be pertinent to us at the picnic.

  • No Amplifiers or "Sound amplifying equipment"
  • No smoking or electric smoking devices
  • Beer or wine is allowed with food
  • No person shall "Paste, glue, tack or otherwise post any sign, placard, advertisement or inscription."
  • "Nor shall any person attach any rope, wire, or other contrivance to any tree or plant."
  • Dogs are permitted "...led by a leash of suitable strength not more than six feet in length.

Also note that there are compost bins, separate from the trash bins, for food waste at the park.
